The Upstate Hockey Club Foundations Camp is a four-day introductory program designed specifically for athletes new to the sport or those looking to solidify their fundamental skills ahead of the fall season. Our curriculum focuses on establishing technical proficiency in a structured, high-energy environment.

Program Focus & Curriculum

• Technical Foundations: Comprehensive instruction on correct stick grip, body positioning, ball control, and fundamental passing and receiving mechanics.

• Tactical Integration: Introduction to basic game rules, field spacing, and defensive positioning through structured, small-sided gameplay.

Equipment : Upstate HC provides all necessary field hockey sticks, shinguards, training balls, and reversible pinnies. Participants are required to bring athletic footwear, mouthguard, and water bottle.
