From the first time you pick up a stick to preparing for college, Upstate Hockey Club offers year-round camps and clinics designed to help every player improve. We group athletes by age and experience level, making sure your child gets the right coaching and the perfect amount of challenge to grow their skills and love the game.

  • Beginner Foundations: Fun, high-energy sessions introducing the absolute basics—stick handling, passing, and core rules—perfect for total newcomers.
  • Intermediate Skills: For players with the basics down. Focuses on advanced stickwork (like 3D skills), tactical positional play, and preparing for school seasons.
  • Advanced & Elite: High-tempo, intensive masterclasses focusing on advanced team strategies, elite execution under pressure, and collegiate-level preparation.

Dedicated goalkeeper training is integrated into our intermediate and advanced programs.

The Upstate Hockey Club Fall Clinic is a six-week introductory program designed specifically for athletes new to the sport or those looking to solidify their fundamental skills. Our curriculum focuses on establishing technical proficiency in a structured, high-energy environment.

  • Technical Foundations: Comprehensive instruction on correct stick grip, body positioning, ball control, and fundamental passing and receiving mechanics.
  • Tactical Integration: Introduction to basic game rules, field spacing, and defensive positioning through structured, small-sided gameplay.

Equipment : Upstate HC provides all necessary field hockey sticks, shinguards, training balls, and reversible pinnies. Participants are required to bring athletic footwear, mouthguard, and water bottle.
